Cheshire Oaks Shopping Trip

So today I was going to upload a DIY face mask, but... my brother and his girlfriend decided to take me shopping at Cheshire Oaks. And of course living up to Britain's true form, it rained, on and off all day!

Surprisingly my brother only bought himself two things which is surprising because that dude is a true shopaholic, where as I am much more reserved when it comes to spending my money!

But after me and my friend decided to go on a walk to Knypersley, which is a beautiful lake and its surroundings in the country, 3.9 miles away from where we live (yes I googled it). After having a walk around the lake in the sunshine we decided to take a different route back home... which we came to regret, because it was super muddy and I got my Nike Blazers that I bought just after Christmas covered in mud!

My poor shoes
So  I was really happy when I found these ones in the Nike outlet, for just £17.50

I also came across these ridiculous shoes in Adidas, I don't know what the designer was thinking!

I will hopefully put up the face mask sometime in the next week
Thank you for reading!

Pre Turkey Blogs

I'm extremely excited to be heading back to Turkey again this year, I went to turkey for the first time last year and immediately fell in love! I went to Kalkan, which is a beautiful town on the Lycian coast. It is a small rustic town, with gorgeous buildings which has stood the test of time.

As it gets closer to my trip I will be writing blogs telling stories of my holiday last year as well as uploading any clothing or beauty products I buy, the climate in Turkey is extremely hot so there will be lots of clothes to help keep me comfortable and cool during the day and night as the temperature at night is still warm.

I took this photograph while having dinner at a small restaurant right on the harbour! The clear, blue ocean attracted plenty of people, tourists and locals who took a dip to cool down from the blazing sun. The locals being used to swimming there were diving of the harbour walls or off walls in to the warm water below without a care in the world! adults and children alike were out enjoying the sun, I was enjoying a gorgeous chicken burger, which was cooked in a unique sauce I hadn't eaten before.
The restaurant also doubled up as a waffle and ice bar, I had a water melon flavoured ice cream which was dipped in melted chocolate which harden immediately making a chocolate shell on my ice cream!
Also while I was there, of course I tried the waffles, which I never really liked when I bought them at home in the UK but I just couldn't resist the flower shaped waffles, that filled a big plate and comes with just about any topping you could image.

I can't wait to return back to this beautiful country, ill keep you guys posted!

Garden Projects

Since I was a little girl my nan has always had a garden filled with all different kinds of plants, and has taught me a few things as I've grown up, then my dad left it to me to look after our gardens. This year I am mainly growing strawberries and potato's, this is because, they are easy to grow, we always need potato's and I'm hoping to use the strawberries in so summer recipes in a few months also we are having a new patio laid down so the garden is too messy to have anything else.

But I have been looking to do some small, fun garden projects, to hopefully help me in the garden, make it look more colourful and also try and get my young nephew interested in growing plants and vegetables and hopefully teach him a few things.

I will be keeping my blog updated with any projects I do and also any, recipes I make that involves any of the plants I'm growing in the garden.

Shopping Day

Summers here which gives you the perfect opportunity to go shopping, maybe for that perfect summer outfit or for an up coming holiday. So iv been looking around for a comfortable outfit which will be just right for a full day shopping!
Living in England I picked this outfit knowing that it may be sunny one minute but raining the next, so picking the right clothes is essential.
The blouse is the right amount smart/casual, worn with the right things, the ripped jeans and leather jacket stops you looking like you've just finished work but you will still look put together and classy, and of course having a comfortable pair of shoes for a full day shopping is a must, which is why I chose these grey flats, because they are comfortable but also tie in with the shirt. Also a small bag to keep your phone and purse safe.

  • Blouse £55 - Top Shop
  • Jeans £23.79 - American Eagle
  • Bag £16.90 - Forever 21
  • Jacket £29.75 - Forever 21
  • Shoes £7.99 - H&M
Enjoy your shopping trip!

Review - Mint Julips

During the Spring and summer months I have an allergy that flares up on my face, my whole mouth swells, it used to be the whole bottom of my face -including my lips cheeks chin and tongue, but over the years the effects haven't been as bad. The doctors haven't found out what it is I'm allergic to and are reluctant to test me because they say it isn't dangerous, but iv always thought a swollen tongue was very dangerous, also when the affects get very bad it can stop me from me from eating for weeks, meaning I live of juice, tubed yogurts and antibiotics!

Because my lips are swollen they often get really chapped, especially in the morning when I wake up. I have been looking around for products to help this problem and I stumbled across 'Lush's Mint Julips', this product works well because it helps to get rid of the flaky skins on my lips but also sooth them. I don't use the product if my lips are cut and slightly bleeding because I don't want to irritate them more, but when they are chapped this is a good product to use!

Also I love to use this product on a daily basis, especially in the morning when I get slight swelling and chapped lips through out the year but nothing to serious.

All the ingredients are natural except for some of the flavour.
Ingredients:
  • Vanilla extract
  • Peppermint oil
  • Organic jojoba oil
  • Tagetes oil
  • Caster sugar
  • Lemonene
  • Flavour
This product is £5.99 from Lush, I recommend it to you!

Summers Here... I Think

Living in the UK means that the weather is usually all over the place, but finally the sun has arrived - not to sure how long it will last- so I have been looking around for the perfect summer outfit.

This cropped jersey top is perfect for the summer, the soft thin material will keep you cool without showing too much and you'll still be comfortable. The shorts add colour to the outfit, and are the ideal colour for the summer. The lace sneakers, add detail to the simple out fit, I chose a simple black bag which could be a clutch or add the strap for a shoulder bag. The necklace is the perfect size for a cute accessory and adds a tiny bit more detail.

This outfit could easily be glammed up for a night out, by adding a pair of black heels and a big statement necklace!

  • Crop top £3.99 - H&M
  • Shorts £20.86 - American Eagle
  • Shoes £25 - Miss Selfridge
  • Bag £12.99 - H&M
  • Necklace £2.99 H&M
Hopefully summer is here to stay!

Lazy Day By The Pool

As I am going to Turkey at the end of June iv been looking around for holiday clothes, and as I am a college student I don't have the biggest budget, so I was so pleased that I could buy this outfit from one place and still be able to shop around for more.
I Love The Pattern Of The Bikini

I got this whole pool outfit from H&M, I love the bikini because it adds a pop of colour, and if you are like me then you might wear shorts as well, and of course simple black flip flops that are easier to quickly put on or off and they will go with every outfit.
  • Bikini top - £3.99
  • Bikini Bottoms £3.99
  • Shorts £5.99
  • Flip Flops £3.99
