Two Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette Review

Hey guys, as you probably read the title then you will have guessed that I am reviewing the Two Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly palette. I have been waiting for this palette for so long, ever since I saw it in one of Amanda Steele's videos, but I was lucky enough that somebody super special bought it for me. Living in the UK it is hard to get some Two Faced products which is another reason I didn't pick it up straight away. But with christmas fast approaching this pocket sized palette is a perfect gift.

This palette is perfect for travelling, it is small enough to fit into handbags and I actually think that it is smaller than some mobile phones. It is great for beginners as it has 9 shades which are split into three step by step looks but of course yo can create whatever looks you like. There is a mix of shimmer and matte shades giving you multiple day looks which can easily be transitioned into night looks.

Shades:
-Spread the love: A peachy tone with very fine glitter, it is very light with a shimmer, it is perfect for a base.
-Peanut butter: A matte brown/ tan, this shade is good for and everyday look and is an ideal transition shade for each of the colours in the palette; it has a lovely buttery texture.
-Peanut butter cup: a shimmery bronze shade, I love this colour although it has quite a bit of fallout.

Spread The Love/Peanut Butter/Peanut Butter Cup
-Bananas: I love this light golden/ champagne shimmery shade, it is wearable as a day to day base shade or on its own.
-Peanut Brittle: a shimmering coper shade with a warm under tone, this another of my favourites the pay off is incredible and it has a smooth textures.
-Jamin: For me this is my least favourite shade in the palette, it is a deep purple shade with glitter, it is a build able shade but it also has a lot of fall out. This shade is good if you want to smoke out your look and transition to a night time look but I think that a lot of palettes have a shade the same as this one.
Bananas/Peanut Brittle/Jammin'

-Extra Creamy: This is a pure cream shade and as the name suggests it is extra creamy with a super buttery texture.
-Jelly: This shade is the reason I was draw to this palette, its a bright purple shade, it is blend able  but also sheers out a lot and has an iridescent finish. unfortunately this shade is quite crumbly.
-Nuts About U: This is a russet shade shade that blends really well and compliments all of the other shades in this palette.

Extra Creamy/Jelly/Nuts About U

I think this may be one of the favourite palettes that I own, I smells amazing, the packaging is so cute and it is such good quality and I recommend it to everyone.

New Skin Care Products

In December I may have "accidentally" stumbled across The Body Shop website, where I may "accidentally" have pick a few items. I don't think I have purchased anything from The Body Shop before but I have now been converted.

I thought I would share with you the new additions to my skincare routine which have become my staples. I had heard about all of the good properties of seaweed but I have never tried a seaweed product before but I love these products, especially the toner and they quickly became part of my routine.

I use the toner almost every day as part of my routine. I cleanse my skin using my usual products then  go in with the toner just to make sure my skin is makeup, dirt and oil free. This toner will make your skin feel fresh no matter what sort of day you have have had, and it has a nice floral smell to go with it.

As for the clay mask, I use it once a week depending on how my skin  is at the time or what other products I have already used. I love this mask; like the toner its refreshing on the skin and removes excess oil from your skin. There is no seaweed smell on either of these products only a fresh floral scent.

Now I have tried these products I will for sure be going back for the rest of the products in this range.

Lush Wishlist

Happy Soap | Bright Side Bubble Bar | Sunny Side Bubble Bar
Happy Thoughts Bath Oil | Vit C Toner | Tea Tree Water
You've Been Mangoed | A French Kiss
Happy Pill

Welcome back, I hope your new year has, had a good start!

Now that I'm home from university, I am taking in the luxury of having a bath and have made a 'mini' Lush Wish list of some of the products I want to try out. Is there such thing a having too many Lush products? No? didn't think so.

Im intrigued to try the Vitamin C Toner because I love the idea of being able to pop it in to water when your skin is feeling drab, to refresh it and then you can bottle it up for another day. Most of the products I have picked are very citrus based , because I find them very rejuvinating and refreshing. I also picked A French Kiss because I have trouble sleeping and iv been told lavender can help you sleep.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked this post, feel free to comment your suggestions.

Avocado & Green Tea Hair Mask

Have you ever watched TV and wondered how the actresses manages to get frizz free, shiny hair? Well iv made a hair mask that gave me the answer and it was made using only three ingredients which I already had the house.

Ingredients:
4 teaspoons of olive oil
Half and avocado
Half a cup of green to (using just one tea bag)

I used a blender to mix this because it was quicker but also it helped the oil mix in with the other ingredients but if you don't have a blender all you have to do iv mash and mix it together.

I added plant of this too my hair, I sectioned off parts of my hair to make sure I didn't miss any spots then massaged it in. I left it for 20-30 minutes (I didn't want to miss corrie) then washed it out, I shampooed twice and then added conditioner to only the ends of my hair.

I picked these three ingredients because they all have plenty of benefits some share the same benefits so I thought mixing them would double the chances of healthy hair.

Results:
For me this mix made my hair easier to brush, easy to straighten, soft and refreshed, also my hair wasn't weighed down and I have no frizz.

Benefits of the ingredients:
Olive oil:
Makes hair softer
adds shine
is moisturising and stops frizz
helps keep hair from tanlging

Green tea:
Helps with hair growth
prevents hair loss
helps control dandruff
can soothe itchy scalp (it can also help soothe psoriasis)

Avocado:
Helps hair growth
moisturising
adds shine
prevents hair loss
can treat dry and itchy scalp
helps tackle frizz
helps control dandruff

There you go a super simple, easy to make mask which promotes healthy hair.

I hope you liked this post.

April Favourites

Woooo April went fast, I know I say that each month but as the end of my college year draws closer, the quicker time seems to fly!

Beauty:
For skin care my favourites this month has to be Simple. I have been using the Kind to eyes smoothing eye balm and the Kind to skin vital vitamin day cream, also the vital vitamin foaming cleanser.

I have also been loving the super drug own brand tea tree facial cleansing wipes, they are super cheap there is a lot of them, they usual have a deal on them and they actually work, what more could you ask for. I would advise that you get the sensitive skin ones iv if your eyes are sensitive as well is your skin, you ask why? all i got one of each but the normal ones make my eyes water like I'm cutting an onion.

Iv also been loving Benefit Roller Lash, when I first saw the brush I didn't think it would be up to much, but a love it, your lashes look so natural and you don't need to use ten coats. Also if you are like me and don't like putting things close to your eye and the huge mascara bristles other brands use freak you out then Roller Lash is for you.

Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner, I know I put this up last month but I haven't just been using it for my hair, I thought I would see how it shapes up when it comes to shaving my legs and guys this is a magical product, I will write a review for you.

Shop:
Boohoo, Plain and simple I freaky love boohoo!

Clothing:
Because Iv started the gym Iv been looking for more work out appropriate clothing and New Balance Sports bra and my under armour tops have become my new best friends.

Also my bright orange Nike shoes, you guys know I love orange so these shows are perfect for me.

TV & Film:
Generation Kill

Food:
Watermelon
herbs and spices, these can make a change to any meal.

Forever 21 OOTD

Hey guys,
I know Iv been absent most of the month but its been pretty hectic for me, iv been sorting out stuff for when I go to uni, it seriously took like five hours for me to sort out my student finance and sort out accommodation. There was a plus side though I got to go out and buy most of my homeware things, which is really exciting!

So as summer comes around so does festival season and every brand or store has plenty of clothing to suit the trend and when I saw some of the things Forever 21 had to offer, I couldn't not show you.
So to start off I picked this gorgeous blue patterned swing dress with bell sleeves and a cute cut out on the back.
Next is this black swing dress with crochet sleeves, I also think you can get this in white.

I picked out a few different pieces of jewellery, because well a girl needs options, and some of these picks are unique but still suit the 'festival' look! I especially love the two necklaces and the gold textured rings.

For these shoes I went more simple because you don't want overload the look and you need to be comfortable if your on your feet all day.

The leather bag pack will work with both dresses and make a statement.
Iv added the knee high sock because I am seeing them everywhere, they are super cute, simple and they just pull the outfit together.

Medallion Print Bell-Sleeve Dress £10.50
Crochet Sleeve Babydoll Dress £12.25
Frosted Ring Set £3.15
Tasseled Arrow Charm Necklace £5
Crystal Pendant Layered Necklace £5
Over the knee socks pack of 2 £7.50
Etched Faux Stone Ring Set £3.50
Triangle Ring set £3.50
zippered faux leather booties £14.70
Faux leather draw sting backpack £25

Everything is from Forever 21, I hope you liked this post, feel free to check me out on social media!

Thanks for reading
