Tropical Super Food Smoothie Bowl

Summer is here and the sun is out; yes even in Britain the sun is here so I'm switching up from the usual boring breakfasts to a more exotic start and who doesn't love a good smoothie bowl, here is my current favourite smoothie bowl.

Ingredients:
-1 nectarine
-Frozen mango
-Frozen pineapple
-Frozen Papaya
-1 tsp maca powder
-1 tsp lucuma powder

On the top:
-Chia seeds
-Mixed pumpkin & sunflower seeds
-Pine nuts
-Coconut sugar

Now an ingredient that I have used in this is lucuma powder, I'm sure that you have seen smoothie biwls all over Instagram but if you are like me, you may not of seen or heard of it, I didn't know about it until I was having a wander through Wholefoods so I thought I would give it a go. So here are some of the benifits of lucuma powder, it is rich in vitamins and minerals such as B1 and B2, iron, potassium, as well as calcium and fibre. It is also thought to have anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.

London Duck Tours Adventure | AD/ Gifted

Hey guys, recently I was contacted to write a review for London Duck Tours and I jumped at the chance, when I was younger and my dad brought me to London I always wanted to go on a tour bus and see the wonders of London that way, but it never happened. So I took this opportunity for my inner child to come out and I had so much fun!

I was a little skeptical at first because now I'm older I had it in my head that the Wonder was no longer on the tour bus which passes by the sights I've spent nearly two years seeing almost every week;  I thought it was going to be a trip with a man in a tweed jacket droning on about the details of Buckingham Palace. Oh, how I was wrong, this simple tour that I thought I was taking my housemates on definitely turned into an adventure.

If you aren't familiar with Duck Tours then they by far have the brightest most colourful tour buses in London which can't be missed, they are bright yellow buses which are also boats; originally used for the military. So from the information that I have just given about the bus, you can probably guess that this is a tour like no other; you actually get more than a bus ride, a ride on the Thames is also included, and here are my thoughts on the day.

Finding the tour was easy, we walked from Waterloo station and were there in minutes, we were the first people to sign in so we got the first choice of where to sit on the bus, our tour guide introduced himself as Tom and also the drivers, Rogers, after being told about the safety procedures we were off.  The atmosphere on the tour is amazing, Tom talked us through the history of the sites we were driving by and also had lots of other facts, he very happily interacted with everyone on the tour, answering any questions and having conversations. Luckily it was such a sunny day when we went which made for such a nice drive around but also the boat ride on the Thames was great, Roger was swapped for a waterman called James who took over for the ride. Tom had more facts while we were on the water but also let us take in the sites, but then, in my opinion, the best part of the tour was yet to come!

We broke down while attempting to get off the water, for me, this was freaking me out at first, after nearly drowning as a child I'm not the biggest fan of water and being stuck on a broken down boat on the Thames was hardly my idea of heaven. But Tom took it all in his stride with the help of James, he  contacted whoever he needed to contact to get us out and then continued to interact with us, he kept us calm and had us laughing and joking and not too long after we were pulled out of the water and back on our way.

Before anybody panics when I say we were broken down on the Thames I don't mean in the middle of the river and sinking like the Titanic, in reality, we were a few feet away from the shore and probably could have got out and walked, especially with the tide going out, but I wanted to include this story because I think it really shows how great the company are with how well the situation was dealt with, the entire trip was so much fun; even the unexpected parts.

Literal walking distance...

I have to give a huge shout out to Tom for being such a good tour guide, me and my housemates and I think everyone else on the trip thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I think this is a perfect trip for some family fun that I would definitely recommend and go on again. So if you want to find the geographical centre of London or just fancy a day out doing something a little different I would suggest you add London Duck Tours to your itinerary.

Baywatch Inspired Beach Wishlist

Baywatch is back with a new film installment and with summer finally here I decided to create a beachwear wishlist inspired by Baywatch, all of the pieces that I have picked are available on ASOS as well as their respective sites; so lets get started.

First up, the most important part; the swimwear, I chose a more classic Baywatch style red one piece with a low back and thin crossover straps and for people who prefer I have picked out a red scalloped hem two piece.

Now for coverups I again, picked out two. First a classic white beach coverup with red detailing on the pockets with red tassels, if you were to wear it with the red one piece you would be able to see the crossover pattern of the straps because the coverup has a low back. Now my second choice I absolutely fell in love with, it is a red dress made of sheer chiffon, the bodice and the skirt are joined together with knots at the waist.

Lastly for the accessories, because its a beach or pool day look that i'm putting together I simply chose sandals, a beach bag and some sunglasses as to not over compliment the looks.

Bag, £25| Sandals, £22| Sunglasses, £11

I hope you have enjoyed this post,

Waiting For Summer| Outfit June 2017

As you probably already know, its summer now but in the UK the weather is still very much bouncing back and fourth between sun and rain, hot and cold and trying to find an outfit is extremely frustrating. But here is an outfit compiled of some of the key staples in my wardrobe at the moment.

The first is this California lace up tee from Primark, I have seen so many bloggers and youtubers with this shirt and I couldn't help to pick it up myself.

I love this light blush pink faux leather skirt from Zara; because it incorporates one of my favourite trends of the last few years - paper bag waist- I don't know why I just love this trend.

Lastly are my white white Converse, like most people I just love Converse and they can be paired with almost anything.

California lace up tee: Primark, £8
Faux leather skirt: Zara £9.99
Converse: £45

Thats all for today, thank you for reading

KIKO Smart Colour Eye Shadow Review

Im loving eyeshadows at the moment so I have a few reviews coming, but first; here is a review of KIKO’s Smart Colour eyeshadows.

They are in quite durable plastic packaging with a clear lid, I love that they are so small because you could easily fit them into your makeup bag and take them anywhere.

Now on to the actual product, there is a good range of colours from you to choose from. The formula is so buttery and creamy, with absolutely no fall out. On to the colours I have got, I only picked up two which I now regret, I wish I had more. I got 04 Matte Cocoa and 16 Metallic Orchid Violet.

Out of these two shades 04 is my favourite, it is very pigmented, it is buildable so you could have a day time look or smoke it out for the evening. I also like 16 but it as build able, it is a more sheer and it is easier to use your finger with this one rather than a brush where as 04 works either way.

But at £2.50 I can’t complain, I am going to buy more, I hope you have enjoyed this post, if you have any suggestions on other eyeshadows I should try please leave a comment.

February Birchbox | 2017

Hello lovlies, I hope that you are all well. Today i'm reviewing my February Birchbox as i'm sure you all guessed from the title. I fell in love with the design of this box as Birchbox have collaborated with Papier to create this months box.

I the design is white with green leaves printed on with a green draw, this design is so simple but also seems exotic to me, kind of reminds me of paradise, also with this box we have received a  25% off voucher for Papier.com, which is amazing because I love stationary. The voucher also has a quote on the back from F. Scott Fitzgerald, and as a blogger I love this quote.

'You don't write because you want to say something,
you write because you have something to say'

So first off for the products I received a Spectum Collections Tulip Eye Contour Brush, as you know I love Spectrum products and this is no different, it is white and rose gold so i'm sure it will be a fan favourite, and it is super soft.

Next up I got a Pop Beauty eye shadow trio in Champagne Mocha, and I was so surprised by it, the texture of the shadows are so creamy and buttery with no fall down and they are well pigmented.

Next up is a Keeome Hydration Mask Therapy, I haven't tried this yet but i'm looking forward to it as i'm really into face masks at the moment.

I also received Beaver Professional Daily Moisture Conditioning spray, I did like this but I don't think it works as well in my hair as other hair products I have received, but it smells amazing.

Lastly and my favourite of all is Whish shaving cream in Asia Grapefruit, now for me this product was sent from the gods, I absolutely  bloody love it, all the years that iv been shaving my legs or getting waxes or using cream, my legs always reacted badly to it. In fact a lot of the time it was quite painful and no matter what I tried to use it didn't work, so I didn't really expect much from this but OMG I LOVE IT. I do have to say though, the smell isn't that greats, but everything else I love, a little goes a long way and my legs are super smooth after with no irritation. I will definitely purchasing it again.

Anyway guys, I hope you have found this post helpful, as always thank you for reading!
